We hired AMP DJ/BAND HYBRID for our wedding, and they were one of the best decisions we made.
From the start, they were so easy to communicate with, incredibly professional, and genuinely attentive to our family’s needs. They even added last-minute band members with total ease, no stress, just smooth execution. We wanted a big party vibe, and that is exactly what we got.
The vocals were phenomenal, the musicianship was outstanding, and the energy they brought was unreal.
The perfect blend of music kept the dance floor packed all night, and the band read the room effortlessly. They were also so open to our personal touches, like my dream of having a big group sing-along, and they embraced it with enthusiasm. At the end of the night, they were even flexible and kind enough to stay for one last song, making the finale feel absolutely magical. One of our favorite parts was how interactive the performers were. The saxophonist, trumpet player, and lead singers came out onto the dance floor, mingled with guests, and encouraged everyone to get up and celebrate. It made the whole night feel electric and personal. A special highlight was how graciously they welcomed a performance from one of our wedding guests, seamlessly bringing them into the band and turning it into a moment we’ll never forget. “First of all, it’s been a week after the wedding and let’s just say we are still getting messages from our guests about how amazing the entertainment and flow of the entire wedding was.
Ana and Jim were the most incredible band leaders to work with prior to our wedding.
They made everything so easy, and while our heads were busy planning our entire event, they ensured the entertainment was completely taken care of and top notch. They listened to us, and with their expertise put together the most extraordinary and unique performance throughout every part of our event. We knew they were talented but took a leap of faith as they are a new band/dj hybrid… and OH MY GOD were we so lucky we found them!!! They can kill it on literally any genre. They created their own custom mashups that caught everyone’s attention. They customized everything. They put the care into our wedding as they would for their own.. and we felt it the entire night.
The process of working with them is something my husband and I will always remember and cherish. Being around them, zooming with them, laughing with them - they are so receptive and caring. I must have hugged them a million times throughout the night because it felt like we knew them so well after working with them to create our dream. They took what we wanted and brought it to the next level. We are extremely grateful! Their team touched everyone. Person after person came up to our families to express something amazing about each band member. They blew away our entire party. Just to name a few- The electric violin was WOW. You could have mistaken the pianist as Billy Joel (this was the opinion of MANY at the party). Ana’s voice is jaw dropping. Jim is as cool as it gets and is incredibly versatile. Jim will figure out a solution to any little hiccup you may have. They MASTERED the hybrid. No one knew who was playing what, or if it was DJ verse Band. It looked like a full blown band and an amazing DJ set up that can conquer everything and anything. We told them we wanted to dance all night and get all ages up, moving, and having a good time- and they exceeded our expectations. We knew they were special and that there was something about them that sets them apart from the rest just from getting to know them as individuals and professionals in the field, but now we can officially say, with confidence, we are right!!!
They truly are the unicorn of the music/wedding industry. I can’t wait to have any event in the future or be at any event with AMP.

I would give 10 stars if I could! AMP was the first vendor we booked after securing our wedding date and it was the best decision we ever made!
From the initial planning, Ana and Jimmy were so helpful, kind, and easy to work with. “Working with AMP was a dream come true! As most couples do, we were seriously debating between a DJ and a band for our wedding. There were pros and cons for both, right? A DJ would provide dance music and is less expensive than a full-blown band, but we have a rock background as most of the music we love is performed by live bands, and the groom played guitar in a band for a while. We wanted the feel of a concert, but we also wanted to hear some dance mixes to get people moving. We thought, whatever will we do? In came AMP to the rescue!
With AMP, we got EVERYTHING we could have wanted and more. We got a string trio for the ceremony, a fantastic keyboardist for the cocktail hour, a full band/DJ for the reception!
They had people on the dancefloor all night to the point that most people didn't want the party to end! The process was straightforward, and Jimmy and Ana were extremely accessible throughout. After filling out a short questionnaire with all the songs we wanted to be played, we got on a couple of calls with Jimmy and Ana to go over the details. Some of our songs were a little out there (our first dance was a Bo Burnham song), but they made it work perfectly! They did an incredible job and helped deliver our dream wedding. We were so impressed with Jimmy and Ana's kindness and professionalism that we also opted to commission them for a custom song to commemorate our special day. They did a fantastic job, and we love the music they created for us!
They even met us before the big day to give us a framed copy of the lyric sheet! The entire experience was terrific.

They were phenomenal! Ana & Jimmy are extremely talented and incredibly knowledgeable.
We added on a guitarist and horns section which REALLY got the party going. We've had people tell us our wedding was the most fun wedding they've been to and say the band was the best they've heard. Ana & Jimmy were helpful and responsive whenever we needed them. They even attended our venue walkthrough to get an idea of the space. Their event planning guide is very detailed and really helps them understand the vibe/tone you're trying to set. We mentioned playing "Kiss Me" by Sixpence None the Richer as our recessional song but changed our minds. They remembered that small detail and added it to the playlist later in the night, even though we never put it in the guide. It was really sweet. We wish we had another big event, so we could book them again lol!”

To upstage the food at Land's End is quite the accomplishment and let me tell you, Ana & Jimmy did it. "Where did you find this band? They are phenomenal! Oh, the food is also amazing..." is what we kept hearing the entire night. We started with a string trio for the ceremony and they played "Bridgerton" type music, then moved into jazz music (complete with a saxophonist) for the cocktail hour. Then it was time for the reception!!! We opted for the horns and had several others in the band. AMP started with a 1,2,3 punch of knockout hits to set the tone.
Ana's voice is so powerful and the dance floor was bumping THE ENTIRE NIGHT. If you want a party and you want people to keep that party going - AMP is your go to!
Ana & Jimmy met with us (virtually) several times, as we live in Texas. Being thousands of miles away did not hinder them from doing their job or forming a bond with us. Ana & Jimmy even swung by our Tasting at Land's End to say hi and run through some final things. Not to mention, they got some pretty great pictures ;) Thank you AMP for making our wedding a night we will never forget!!!! We had immediate comfort and trust in them from the first time we spoke, and the show they put on for our day was better than we ever could have imagined. “If you’re looking for a wedding band, it’s AMP DJ/BAND HYBRID. Period. Ana and Jimmy were the best vendor we booked, and we had good vendors! Their planning process was actually fun. Their survey? Thorough and professional. If you’re me, it was also hilarious— FYI they can see your answers BEFORE you hit submit. I typed things like “Hard Pass,” “Absolutely not,” and “What is that???” which they read out loud while we reviewed in real time. They did a full site visit, showed up with a sound team who stayed, and seamlessly coordinated our private outdoor first dance while piping the music inside. And then…the dance floor. Ana & Jimmy exceeded our expectations in so many ways! They are the perfect combination of a band and a Dj and they combine the two flawlessly.
I remember throughout our wedding reception looking over and seeing they were actually singing and I was just in shock at how good they sounded! They kept the energy going all night long! The pre-planning and event guiding they give before the wedding worked so well and made sure to get all of the important details from us and they carry out the rest! I didn’t even need to stress about introductions, announcements or timelines because they made everything flowed so well!
We are still amazed at how they execute their hybrid model so elegantly.
We had so many compliments about AMP and even had guests asking for their info! Ana & Jimmy were always willing to meet up in person and talk on phone/FaceTime. They made our whole wedding planning experience from start to finish so personal and meaningful. They are such genuine nice people! We cannot say enough good things about their amazing talent!! Our guests were raving at the quality of music and everyone was dancing throughout the reception. Ana and Jimmy are a pleasure to work with and helped us customize our music to be what we were looking for. They were responsive whenever we had questions and helpful with suggestions when we needed ideas for anything from entrance songs to cocktail hour background music. They sent us an Event Planning Guide way in advance so that we could start thinking about and filling in details we were looking for, including “must play” songs. Only seeing a showcase video, I knew they were good, but I didn’t know THAT GOOD. Ana and Jimmy were one of the easiest and sweetest vendors to work with, always willing to jump on a zoom call, meet in person, do a run through, answer my emails right away, you name it. Their attentiveness to our wedding day experience was superior. They understood the vision of the day we wanted and executed to perfection, keeping a jam packed dance floor the entire night (I literally think I left only to eat dinner for about 5 min), with music we loved.
The band/dj combo works so fluidly, they are true artists, half the time you heard a song you couldn’t tell if that was the singer or the actual song being played.

“We used AMP DJ/Band Hybrid for our wedding and had the best experience!
We were looking for a hybrid type of music act but didn’t just want a DJ and one instrument.
When I was introduced to AMP and their DJ Band hybrid, we knew we had to book them for our wedding! From the start, Ana and Jimmy were SO helpful. They even came to our venue to do a walk through with us to envision the day. Whenever we had a question, they answered quickly and throughly. Our guests RAVED about AMP at the wedding. So many people came up to us throughout and said they were the best band ever! We wanted our family and friends dancing all night, and that’s what they did! I also love pop punk music, which is partly why I wanted a DJ band hybrid, and AMP delivered! We also worked with AMP to add additional musicians, and they were able to coordinate and add with ease. We added a string duo during our ceremony and it was truly magical to walk down the aisle to the beautiful sounds of the string duo.
Overall, I had the best experience with AMP.
AMP is a newer concept/group, but they have been playing together as part of a larger band for years and they are so so amazing! I highly recommend booking them for your wedding - you won’t regret it!”

I can’t speak more highly about AMP DJ/Band Hybrid.
They were my first and last phone call regarding the music vendor for my April 2022 wedding. Upon speaking with them; we knew immediately they were the right fit for myself and my husband. I love Old school Boomer music and traditional wedding party songs meanwhile my fiancé tends to prefer hip hop music and top 40 music. They were the best fit for us. Honestly, while I know they are experienced musicians; I was a little nervous at first as they are a newer formed group that they would be lacking, But they blew us and all 215 of our guests away!! I can’t tell you the amount of people who have reached out to me personally post wedding to rave about our band; and I’ve been told by so many people that our wedding was the best wedding they’ve ever been to, and I know it is due to this brilliant musical ensemble! The powerhouse singers, DJ and musicians (we opted in for a guitarist for our cocktail hour and reception and it was incredible) just couldn’t make a better team. The dance floor was packed the whole night and we couldn’t have been more happy with them. Of All the vendors we used (whom were all fabulous) they were the one I couldn’t recommend more highly. The amount of care and charisma and fun they will bring to your event will be unmatched by any other group.
SO RUN don’t walk and Hire them for your next event.

My husband really wanted a band while I really wanted a DJ, Amp DJ band was the perfect mix. We found Ana & Jimmy immediately and were able to schedule a meeting with them the next day. We knew right away that they were right for us. They were extremely attentive and outgoing from the start. They answered all our questions and addressed concerns we had. We booked them immediately because we didn’t want to miss out on the opportunity to work with them. We met with them several times through our 6 month planning process. They responded immediately to any questions that popped up along the way and even allowed us to make a last minute change the night before.
They well exceeded our musical playlist, taking the songs we requested and tailoring the rest of the music to fit the vibe.
